I hate squeaky trucks. I hate everything that squeaks.
I have absolutely no tolerance for squeaks. Squeaky voices, squeaky laughs and styrofoam boxes are some of the things I try to avoid.
So my new trucks were irritating me so much that I had to google the problem and the two best fixes for squeaky trucks are soap or candles. I went with wax.
All you gotta do is grab a penknife and start shaving the candle. Then pick up those shavings and dump it in the pivot cup and in between the bushings.
Wait, what cup? Okay, before you pick up the shavings or even grab the penknife and start shaving the candle. You should unscrew your trucks. See the picture below.
1. Unscrew the kingpin nut of your trucks.
2. Grab a knife and a candle.
3. Start shaving.
4. Place shavings in the pivot cup and in between the bushings.
5. Screw your trucks.
6. Ride away silently.
7. Update. The video is finally up.
